SMS – DONATE

Dana means ‘generosity’ or ‘free will offering’ which follows the ancient practice of the Buddhist lineage where teachings are offered freely. Sacred Mountain Sangha has been made possible through many generous offerings, so in turn, it can offer a service through the transmission of the Dharma.

Sacred Mountain Sangha emerged from Kittisaro and Thanissara’s Dharma practice and decades of Dharma work, co-founding monasteries, two Non-Profits, a meditation center in South Africa, teaching retreats globally, supporting community development, writing books, ministering to thousands of students, all while working within the Dana system. If you would like to be part of this flow of generosity, please know it is deeply appreciated.

If you have benefited from the work of Kittisaro and Thanissara, Dharmagiri, and the offerings from Sacred Mountain Sangha, or wish to further these opportunities for others, then we welcome your support, enabling our ability to make a positive difference by helping “Turn the Dharma Wheel.”

DANA OFFERINGS TO SACRED MOUNTAIN SANGHA SUPPORT:

~ The development of trainings, such as the two-year Dharmapala Training.

~ The development of Sacred Sangha Online and its retreats and events.

~ Scholarships for retreats, including Kittisaro and Thanissara’s month-long retreat.

Through acts of sharing
we affirm our inter-connection
and support of all beings
within the sacred web of life.
